What’s most important to you? Write down the three things that are your top priority.
Next, look at your calendar to see if you have time blocked out for any of these items.
We cannot get time back, and the way we spend it reflects on every aspect of our lives. For us to become more efficient, make time for what matters, choose where we allocate time, and take time for ourselves, we have to learn how to segment our day into chunks of activities that serve our needs and overall goals. This is critical to our success. I highly recommend that you don’t plan into your evening hours because you’ll press up against your sleep.
“Yeah, that would be nice, but that’s my life!” If this is your response, let’s discuss how to make you more efficient during the day so you get more done and don’t have to schedule work into your leisure or family time. CLICK here to book a free call.
The new and ethical way to run a business is coupled with a healthy work/life balance. Get good results while at work and then come home disconnected completely from work. Your family will thank you. Take a 5-minute break every hour to stretch, move, drink water, or tea.
As you know, Pareto’s Principle states that 80 percent of our positive productive output comes from 20 percent of our time and effort, and that 80 percent of our time goes to unimportant stuff. Find out where you are best. What’s your superpower? Focus on that and delegate everything else. Getting efficient means getting results. Spending time doesn’t necessarily mean quality work is getting done.
